Presents with chest pain?
1) Rule out STEMI → Do 12 lead ECG → STEMI? → Then Cath emergency
2) Rule out NSTEMi → Troponin (or for reinfarction some other biomarker) → NSTEMi → Non-urgent Cath
3) Unstable angina → Cath lab but is this chest pain coronary ischaemia → stress test → elective cath
Stress test is either exercise or pharmacology (dobutamine). ECG (baseline ECG is normal) or Echo (baseline ECG is not normal) or nuclear (previour CABG or HF).
